Our background

ELM is a maintenance organisation specialising in line maintenance for airlines that demand high standards of reliability and quality, and that recognise sustainability as a key factor in aviation. We are a knowledge-driven company: what we offer operators is competence, commitment, and the regularity that follows from them.

European Line Maintenance AB was established in 2022 through a transfer of business of the airline line-maintenance operation from European Maintenance Service AB (EMS) — built from the start as a cost-efficient, flexible, and lean organisation for airline operators in a highly competitive environment.

ELM is designed to meet the demand of line maintenance support for airline operators trafficking Scandinavia, with line stations at Stockholm Arlanda ARN and Gothenburg LandvetterGOT. Our sister company EMS offers base and line maintenance to the General Aviation Industry. For inquiries regarding General Aviation maintenance, please visit www.ems.aero.

Our Heritage and Core Values

European Line Maintenance AB is part of a group of companies with more than 90 years of experience, led by Jonas Kleberg. His grandfather, Olof Wallenius, began his business activities in 1922 and founded Rederi AB Soya in 1934, laying the foundation for one of the world's largest shipping groups and a diversified portfolio of companies across several industries.

Long-term commitment and a pioneering spirit are two core values that guide and drive the group's sustainability efforts. Partnerships and collaboration are integral to its business model.
